Apps backed by a long mobile track record.

The MobPage division of our Hong Kong parent company has shipped more than 200 apps into 170 countries since 2004 — business apps, ordering and loyalty, school communication and community platforms. That is parent-company history, not work claimed by the Edmonton office. Canadian projects are delivered from Edmonton with the Hong Kong engineering team.

Hong Kong parent track record: 200+ apps

Through MobPage, the mobile strategy and product division of iGears Technology Limited in Hong Kong, the parent company has built ordering and loyalty apps for F&B chains, communication apps for schools, member apps for churches and communities, and field tools for enterprises. The figures on this page are not presented as Edmonton-office deliveries.

Two apps, both stores, one standard

The clearest proof of what "store-ready" means to us: one product of our own, and one published by someone else and engineered and operated by us.

LingoCast — our own conversation translator

An iGears product · iOS, Android & Amazon

  • No account anywhere — no login, no profile, no server-side conversation store. Pro entitlement is proved anonymously from a store receipt and a device session.
  • On-device by default — free translation runs on the device on iOS 18+ and Android 8+ where the language pair is supported; iOS 15–17 and Android 6–7 still run in a documented reduced mode that needs Pro and a connection.
  • Private capsules — the complete transcript, the takeaways and the review progress stay on the phone, and our backend never receives raw microphone audio.
  • Three storefronts — App Store, Google Play and a separate Amazon Appstore flavour, with StoreKit 2 and Play Billing settling against one anonymous endpoint.

Understand Bible — an offline-first app on both stores

Published by iT Church · Engineering by iGears

  • Native on both platforms — phone and tablet layouts, including a dedicated iPad sidebar, supporting iOS 15.0 or later and Android 6.0 / API 23 or later while targeting current store SDKs.
  • Offline-first — reading, search, notes, highlights, bookmarks and text-to-speech work with no connection and no account.
  • Multilingual — 20 interface locales with a complete matching key structure on both platforms, including right-to-left Arabic layout.
  • AI with guardrails — grounded answers with citations, explicit opt-in consent, study-aid labelling and in-app reporting.
  • Store-compliant — data-safety and privacy declarations that match the code, consumables declared as consumables, and no ads or advertising trackers.

Coming to both stores

Seven original games. Two are out of embargo.

Seven titles, built in-house, for Google Play and the App Store. Two have full pages below; five more stay under embargo until each launch, but the engineering says everything: real-time rendering, physics, live state, store compliance at scale.

Why this matters if you are buying a business app: game development is the hardest discipline in mobile. A team that ships games will find your booking app straightforward.

Questions we hear

App development FAQ

Do you build native or cross-platform apps?

Both. We recommend per project: cross-platform for most business apps (one codebase, two stores), native where performance or platform features demand it — which is also how we build our games.

What does a mobile app cost?

A focused business app typically starts around CAD 25,000; discovery to define scope starts at CAD 6,000. Store-ready means design, build, testing, store submission and the compliance work most first-timers do not expect.

Can you tell us more about the seven games?

Not yet — titles, genres and gameplay stay under embargo until each launch on Google Play and the App Store. What we can say: seven original titles, built in-house, which is the most demanding proof of mobile engineering a studio can offer.

Who owns the code?

You do. Source code, store accounts and signing keys are handed over — we recommend the store accounts sit in your name from day one.

Do you maintain apps after launch?

Yes — OS updates break unmaintained apps roughly annually. Care plans cover updates, monitoring, store compliance changes and small improvements.
