What is covered — and what is not
One domain, about 2 working hours. We review the registrar and renewal, DNS host, MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC against the services that actually send, the website’s sending path and SSL. Where access is granted, we review Google Postmaster Tools and read-only Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace views.
No changes, no mailbox access and no penetration tests. The report describes findings and suggested next steps; it does not implement fixes.
Who qualifies
Canadian businesses and non-profits with a provincial or federal corporate registry number or a CRA Business Number (first 9 digits only). Never provide a SIN. Apply from an email on your organization’s own domain. One free check per organization per 12 months. iGears may decline; eligibility is verified after application.
How access works
We never ask for passwords. Your organization creates temporary read-only access or arranges a screen-share. Grant only the access agreed for the review, and remove temporary access when it is finished.
The process

- We perform about 2 working hours of read-only checks.
- You receive a written report within 5 business days of the agreed review once required access is available.
